(1 Country Club, next to the Stansbury swimming pool)

All entries must be received by
March 6, 2007.
For school entries they will be turned in at your school and collected on the last due date of the contest.

All art work that is submitted will be on display in some form (wall hangings, table placement, or contained in an art album).

 

Any community members who may like to display other mediums of art are welcome to call or email Mark (843-4397; maugustine@sllda.com) with the Stansbury Park Community Association to make arrangements to display their art. 

   Theme: Stansbury: Your Home, Your Team
For children who do not live in Stansbury Park, the theme will echo the value of their community (Erda: Your Home, Your Team; Lakepoint: Your Home, Your Team, etc.) The idea behind the theme is to help promote the value of a team and how working together as a team helps promote our community.

General Rules:
•  All youth in grades K-12, attending any Stansbury schools or who live in Stansbury Park are eligible to enter a work of art. There will also be junior high and high school categories as well.

•  Each entry must be the original work of the student or adult. Only one piece per individual may be submitted. It may not contain copyrighted material, unless permission has been granted for its use. Use of copyrighted material without permission automatically disqualifies the entry.

•  Entries will be divided into grade categories for the awarding of ribbons.

•  The maximum size of any artwork for grade school entries will be no bigger than 11X17 inches.

This is a visual arts contest. Any medium that can be viewed as a framed picture is the only acceptable works of art that will be entered into the contest, including paints, crayons, colored pencils, markers, pen, watercolor, etc.

Information Required:
On the reverse side of the artwork, the following information should be typed or printed legibly:
•  Your full name
•  Age
•  Address
•  City
•  Your grade
•  Name of school
•  Email address (if available)

Awards:
Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, best of grade, and best of show. Those works of art that take best of grade and best of show will become the property of the Stansbury Park Community Association for 14 months and will be on display in the Stansbury Park Clubhouse until the art show the following year.
